DR video
Video from the Santo Domingo gig is up:
Meantime, if you wanna show some support, Register and vote on theDJlist (and if you're feeling generous, on internetDJ too: register / vote). It's a pretty decent site anyhow, with recommendations and reviews and all sorts of shenanigans, plus it's free. What more could you want?

Nice new production CDs ready for shipping
You can now get the first store-quality mix CD online here ("Steal This Music" / SPD003). We switched production methods and the CDs are now very very pretty and nicely produced and still cost just under $15. Buy one for everyone you know !!! I'm hoping to get the other CDs moved over in the next few weeks.

Discussions
OK! The discussion board works again.
Go crazy -- but please no spamming!!!
PS: CD orders have been turned off temporarily while I switch to a new production service. The good news is that they will be wayyyyy prettier once it's done, and the same price.

Discussions
The discussion board is down right now (sorry!), but it should be back up again very soon. Meantime hit me up at myspace.com/djsickpuppy if you've got stuff to say.
By the way: if you like the mixes and wanna contribute to the Fund for New Records, clicking on a bunch of ad links is one easy way to put a few cents in the jar .....

Malta video online
Malta gig was a lot of fun, check out the video here:

And Love & The Machine in Montreal was great too. Amon Tobin was the special super secret guest, he did a set with Latif, a local beat-box artist.
The Ritual Designs collection was amazing and branched out in a new direction. Check out their online shop.

Upcoming international gigs
If you're anywhere in Europe, get down to the beautiful island of Malta on August 27:

I'll be spinning at Gianpula, along with several great local DJs. Take a few days off and lie on the beach ... I will be.
Back in North America the following weekend is Montreal's art + music + fashion extravaganza:
Ritual Designs will be unveiling their long-awaited 2005 collection.

Latest on upcoming CDs
A lot of people have been asking when new CDs are coming out. The hold-up right now is hardware: I want to include some more original remixes / re-edits on the CDs, but my 5 year-old Powerbook G3 is just way too slow to deal with any more. As soon as a G5 comes out, I'll master the tracks and mix it all up asap.
If you can't wait that long, come and catch a live show some place! Talks are underway for a possible gig in Malta (for those in Europe), and a confirmed show alongside someone you definitely know (but I'm not allowed to name yet) in Montreal, both in late August.
Update:A show at a festival in Mexico later in the year is in planning stages now too.

New artists to check out
This is a great new free app that checks your iTunes music library ratings and compares them to the ratings given by other people using the system. Then it comes back with a bunch of recommendations of other artists and tracks you'd be into, based on what other people with similar preferences like.
To make it work even better, download iEatBrains (Mac) or MusicBrainz (PC), which are free "taggers" - programs that go through your library and give all your MP3s their correct titles, artists and albums names based on pattern matching to an online database.
